A Promise I Can't Keep

Lady Catherine has come to my house to make such a drama between me and Mr. Darcy. First she walks into my house and tries to convince me that Mr. Darcy will marry her daughter, it I was to stay out of the way. Then she asks me to make the promise of staying away from Mr. Darcy so that he could marry her daughter. I'm sorry but I can't do that, I can not make a promise that I won't be able to keep. Besides what makes her think that by me staying away from Darcy, will make him run to her daughter and ask her to marry him.
